Zeritu was raised in a strict way and secluded from the other offspring of the neighborhood. However, Zeritu spent the majority of her summers at her maternal grandparents who were extremely liberal and near their neighbors. There, Zeritu got the chance to meet and play with children from families with various social statuses.
As a young lady in a peaceful house in Gulele, Zeritu read books unquenchably, tuned in to nation stories proposed by the house helps, played and watched football with her sibling and invested energy in trees watching winged creatures and the area past the wall, in quest for stimulation. In any case, music was what engaged and reverberated with her the most.
